Bamboo needles are particularly suited to working with natural fibres.

The bamboo for these Knit Pro needles is grown in Japan. Japanese bamboo is considered to be superior to that grown elsewhere. The trees are not harvested prematurely which allows the needles to be sturdy and strong with high density & tensile strength. The moisture content is controlled meaning that they do not warp easily.
